Eyesaver Visits the Northeast!
On the 3rd and 4th of July, we visited three schools in the northeastern part of Thailand: Wat Vachiralongkorn Wararam School, Baan Khao Wong School and Pong Krasang School. Administering tests to more than 80 first and second graders, we found out that schools that were less dependent on technology generally have students with better eyesight. We bought toys for every student as rewards for completing vision tests. We also enjoyed pizzas during lunchtime. In the end, screening kits along with instructions were distributed to each of the schools for further testing. We're very glad that our trip was an enormous success and that we were able to help many students with the diagnosis of eyesight problems at a very early stage. The journey is filled with smiles and joy!
